AI Use and Data Processing Notice

Effective Date: July 9, 2026

1. Purpose of This Notice

This AI Use and Data Processing Notice explains how Spendric uses AI features, what information may be sent to AI systems, what is not sent in the current product design, and what users should understand before relying on AI-generated responses. This Notice supplements the Spendric Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. What the AI Advisor Does

Spendric includes an AI-powered advisor designed to help users understand advertising audit outputs, ask follow-up questions, interpret findings, and think through possible marketing actions. The AI advisor is scoped to advertising, marketing, and account-performance questions related to the user’s audit context.

3. What the AI Advisor Receives

The AI advisor may receive derived audit outputs, computed findings, campaign or account context included in derived results, user-stated economics, the user’s question, prior conversation history, optional product URLs intentionally provided by the user, and web search or fetch results used to answer a question.

4. What the AI Advisor Does Not Receive in the Current Design

For the current CSV-upload version of Spendric, raw uploaded Meta Ads CSV files are not sent to the AI advisor. Spendric also does not send Meta account login credentials because Spendric does not collect those credentials.

5. AI Provider and No-Training Configuration

Spendric uses Anthropic Claude API to power AI advisor responses. Spendric has configured the provider under zero-retention / no-training API terms to the extent available under the applicable provider arrangement. Customer data sent through the AI advisor is not intended to be used to train the provider’s models.

6. Web Search and URL Fetching

The AI advisor may use live web search to provide context. The user may also paste a product URL or other URL into a question. When a URL is pasted, Spendric or its AI/search tools may fetch the page contents to help answer that specific question. Spendric does not automatically scrape user websites merely because a website URL exists on the account.

7. AI Limitations

AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or misleading. AI may misunderstand audit data, overstate confidence, miss context, or generate suggestions that are not appropriate for a specific business. You must independently review AI responses before acting on them.

8. No Professional Advice or Guaranteed Results

AI responses are informational only. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, professional marketing-agency, or regulated advice. Spendric does not guarantee that following AI suggestions will reduce ad spend, improve revenue, improve ROAS, lower CPA, or produce any outcome.

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for deciding what information to enter into the AI advisor; confirming that you have the right to submit that information; reviewing outputs before use; complying with advertising platform rules, privacy laws, and consumer-protection laws; and making final campaign, budget, creative, targeting, and business decisions.

10. Prohibited AI Uses

You may not use the AI advisor to create unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, harmful, infringing, privacy-invasive, or platform-violating content; to process data you lack rights to use; to infer sensitive personal traits unlawfully; to mislead consumers; or to evade advertising platform policies.
