How to get your ad report from Meta

It takes about a minute in Meta Ads Manager. You’re downloading a spreadsheet (.csv) of your ad sets.

  1. Choose the right ad account. Open Meta Ads Manager at adsmanager.facebook.com. Click the account name at the top left and select the ad account that holds the ads you want reviewed. If you manage more than one, this is the step people get wrong, and the wrong account means empty or mismatched data.

  2. Open your ads table. If you land on an “Account Overview” screen, click “Campaigns” in the left menu. That brings up the table with your ads in it.

  3. Switch to the Ad sets tab. At the top of the table, click “Ad sets.” The first column should now read “Ad set,” not Campaign or Ad.

  4. Set your date range. At the top right, click the date range and choose your period, for example the last 30 days. Keep the same length each time you audit, so your reports line up and your progress shows clearly.

  5. Export as CSV. At the top right, just above the table, click the small arrow next to the download icon, then choose “Export as .csv.” The file downloads right away. That is the file you upload to Spendric.

Spendric reads the ad-set columns automatically, so you do not need to add or remove any columns. Just make sure it is the Ad sets table you are exporting.
